Decaf or naturally caffeine free?
Decaf tea begins life as real tea leaf and has most of its caffeine stripped out in processing — a trace stays behind. Naturally caffeine-free means there was never any there: rooibos comes from a South African shrub, and botanical infusions are flowers, roots and fruits rather than tea at all.
Both take a full boil and a long steep — five to seven minutes. With no leaf tannin to turn sharp, time in the pot only builds body.
