From the bench
Weighed by hand. Measured by eye. The practice as it happens.
The practice
A kettle. A pinch of something dried. A few minutes held aside. Wild Steep is folk blending in its oldest sense — tea made for a reason, named for what it was made for.

Ritual
A cup is a pause you give yourself. Boil. Measure. Steep. The ritual asks little and returns more than it asks.

Folk lore
Before the supermarket aisle there was the cottage door. Blends carried the names of what they were for — a beginning, an ending, an hour of the day.

Botanicals
A proper tea base. Botanicals sourced for origin, not novelty. Weighed and packed by hand in fifty gram batches. Nothing more is added.
Three ranges. One shelf.
An hour of the day. A moment worth marking. A flavour worth the kettle. Each range answers a different question — explore the collection below.

The blender's bench
Folk blending was once a domestic art. A kitchen practice held quietly through generations. Wild Steep keeps to that tradition.
Quality tea bases. Considered botanicals. Blends named for what they were made for. Nothing more is claimed than what a good cup can give.

In person
We take the cabinet on the road. Brass scales, dark wicker baskets brimming with loose leaf, small glass jars of botanicals lined up like an old apothecary — and the kettle always on.
Come and lift a lid, sniff the jars, and have a blend weighed out by hand. The full shelf, under canvas, at craft markets across the country.
